According to World Energy Outlook, the demand for Energy globally is growing rapidly than it has been expected a few years ago. In Africa, it is even faster than any other continents, driven by urban development, increased access to energy and expanding mineral extraction and expanding mineral extraction.
An additional contributing factor is the energy required to be used by Electric Vehicles. For sustainability considerations and low carbon emissions requirement, a mix of Renewable Energy technologies will not only unlock this demand but also provide clean energy to communities, thanks to vast free renewable energy sources in sub-Saharan Africa.
